Service Description

The Potter's Wheel Beginner Course is designed for those who attended one of our sessions as well as to those who would like to practice and develop throwing skills. To make sure each participant gets tailored and one-to-one tutoring this course runs only with 5 students. During the 8 weeks course you will learn and have plenty of  time to practice throwing on the potter's wheel.  The first class will focus on throwing basic cylinder shapes, then move to bowls, vessels or pots during the second session. Later you will learn to throw more complex shapes like bowls, vessels, mugs jugs and cups. The course also covers trimming and glazing, adding handles and creating a lidded jar.   By the end of the course you will produce approximately 10 finished pieces. All materials, glazing and firing is included in the price.
