Colour & Clay Studio is a vibrant and inspiring studio that specializes in ceramics and pottery. It is managed by a team of passionate artists Vinicius Les and B. Eliz Varga who are dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all ages and skill levels. The studio offers a range of classes, workshops and events that cater to the varied interests and needs of their community. For the past 4 years the studio has been involved in community projects and provided classes for the local and wider community of Harrow. In 2021-2022 we developed Project Superculture - a year long period of creativity which culminated in a remarkable exhibition with the aim to show the talented people that attend our accessible classes. This exhibition will stand for Colour & Clay Studio's ethos which is focusing on creating equal opportunities for everyone, offering learning and showcasing art, craft and creativity of individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Vinicius Les
Course facilitator
Vinicius is a London based ceramics artist and painter. He learned the skills of pottery and ceramics from a very young age in his father's studio. Having completed studies in both Ceramics and Fine Art-Painting, Vinicius embarked on a 10 years journey in London, creating and teaching what he loves and has a passion for: pottery and ceramics.
Working with various organisations, Vinicius has formed a strong interest and skill in teaching individuals of all abilities including individuals with physical or/and learning disabilities or difficulties by helping them find their voice through pottery and art.
Vinicius' multidisciplinary practice roots in his immediate environment, always building on the abstraction of the mineral, vegetal and marine nature.
B. Eliz Varga
Studio coordinator
Eliz is a London based visual artist. In 2020 she graduated from UAL Camberwell College of Art in MA Printmaking and helped Vinicius to set up Colour & Clay Studio. Eliz is a highly skilled and ambitious individual who plays a key role in managing the studio's operations and driving its growth through strategic planning and community engagement.
